particular concert. The outreach aspect of this internship entails
researching and then traveling to various communities and communicating

assisting the Box Office Manager in the processing of ticket orders.
includes answering phones, photocopyingfiling, data entry and
possible work at actual concerts.

membership
updating the Access database, answering questions for members,
brainstorming with membership manager in order to develop our
membership and enrollment program. This internship requires good
attention to detail, а creative mind and an ability to work with
customers who require specific attention.

website Maintenance
assisting the designer in all areas of Wmi’’s graphic design for WMI
including: advertising, calendars, website, flyers, posters,
concert programs and catalogs. Please note that the individual must
have good working knowledge of Quark, Photoshop and Illustrator
for Macintosh. This internship would also entail maintaining and
updating our website and compiling our archives and links to be
added to the website: www.heartheworld.org.

press and Publicity
coordinating production and distribution of press and publicity
materials (including deliveries to various media outlets), assisting
in the research of artists and preparation of program notes and
providing general administrative and clerical support to the
director of Publicity and other staff members.

programming and Touring
this internship involves cataloging and maintaining artist submissions,
artist file and providing general administrative and
clerical support to the Artistic Director and other staff members. The
touring involves compiling and preparing promotional
packages, updating database and assisting with logistics.

advertising
create awareness with communities and cultural institutions of the
possibility to advertise in our concert programs, quarterly
calendars and fliers.

prioritize in а fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written
communications skills and а pleasant and professional manner are
essential. Interns will be given access to all World Music
institute events and will receive free admittance to concerts. Seats
